The Afro Love Clarifying Shampoo is made from pure plant-based ingredients. Mint stimulates and softens the scalp, Eucalyptus cleans the curls of residual fat and Rosemary gives your hair its natural shine back. This shampoo is free from sulphates, salt, parabens, DEA, formaldehyde, colorants, mineral oils and silicones.

A Clarifying Shampoo (also called Deep Cleansing or Detoxing shampoo) cleans so intensively that it cleanses your scalp and hair of all unwanted substances that have accumulated in it. Your scalp and hair are therefore thoroughly purified. Clarifying shampoo means "Purifying Shampoo".
A normal shampoo usually contains a division between cleansing and caring ingredients. A deeply cleansing shampoo usually does not contain any caring ingredients, and the shampoo contains purely cleansing ingredients.
Your hair is thoroughly and intensively cleaned and stripped of residues from care products (silicones, moisturizers, etc.), residues from styling products (Polymers, Texturizers, etc.), chlorine and chemicals from, for example, the swimming pool and mineral deposits from, for example, hard water.

Professionals use Deep Cleansing Shampoo to achieve optimum results, for example if you want to have your hair dyed, have a permanent set or want a keratin treatment.
For these treatments, a liquid must penetrate the hair well, but if there are impurities in the hair, the liquid cannot spread evenly through the hair and cannot penetrate the hair properly.

It is also best to use a Deep Cleansing Shampoo if a normal shampoo fails to properly clean the hair and the hair looks lifeless, collapses completely and feels greasy.
You use (too) many hair care and styling products every day. In this case, product scraps accumulate in your hair.
You live in an area where hard water comes from the tap. Hard water contains many minerals that then remain in your hair after a shower.
You often swim in a swimming pool. Chlorine and other chemicals then end up in your hair.
You have oily hair of your own and a normal shampoo against oily hair does not help.
You feel that a conditioner or hair mask is not doing its job properly because it is not due to the layers of accumulation in your hair.

Note that you should not use a Deep Cleansing Shampoo more than 2 or 3 times a month!

Instructions
Apply the shampoo to damp hair and massage it gently into the hair and scalp with a circular motion.
Then rinse with plenty of water. Do not use more than 3 or 4 times a month!
